A fortune cookie motivated me!

The name of this article was in a fortune cookie I recently got. I’ve been in a slumber and it woke me up. I realized that I haven’t been writing because I forgot the positivity which I preach all the time to myself and others.

Most people don’t fear success. What most people truly fear is not success, what they actually fear is they will fail. But how can you succeed if you never try. Many people aren’t afraid to try. But in reality it is fear to try again after a failed attempt.

But how can you succeed if you don’t try again and again. The truth is that like myself, many people are perfectionists. I’ll give you an example.

I recently started a podcast. No, I don’t have a degree in communications or broadcasting. Maybe it’s ten years too late, everyone and their mother has a podcast by now. But I decided I wanted to do a podcast for women to talk about the things important to women. And that’s exactly what I did. I started a podcast having absolutely no experience I had the audacity to think that I can be a podcast personality and people will watch and listen to what I have to say.

My friend and I decided to call it Raw and Real. Of course I didn’t bother to research beforehand if the title was already taken. Later on…
