I am from Russia, the old communist Russia and I'm Jewish so I remember Father Snow and his helper Snegurochka very well. I was very disappointed when I immigrated to the U.S. at 10 years old and we were suddenly Jewish and couldn't have a New Year tree because I was used to Father Snow in Russia and now the New Year tree was replaced with a Hanukkah Menorah and a Hanukkah bush. I don't remember Father Snow bringing presents the way Santa Claus does, I knew the presents were from my mom and grand parents back in Russia. Now thinking back to Father Snow and his Snegurochka I wonder if Father Snow was a pedophile, LOL
