So, about a year ago I thought I would tried my hand at another app and publication called Substack. Never did I dream that when I connected my Stripe account to Substack that would somehow stop my payments coming in from Medium. Then I recently noticed the little money that I make on Medium hasn’t been coming in.
Now I don’t write all day every day here because umm I have a regular job and this is not a full time career just yet. But I noticed my Medium pennies were far and few between. I asked Medium about it, they said contact Stripe, I asked Stripe about it they said contact Medium. Then Stripe said it’s a Substack problem and none of the three have a phone number where you can actually speak to a live human being.
Bottom line is no one wants to take ownership and resolve the fact that apparently they were trying to send my money onto an old credit card that went bad which I used to use to pay for my Medium membership.
Honestly, I don’t know if it’s even worth it anymore to pay for Medium considering how crappy they just made me feel by trying to pawn me off on someone else when it was not convenient to deal with my problem. No one wants to give me my money so I may have to say Sionora to Medium and find another platform to get interest in my book which is why I was here in the first place. Medium; All I can say is a big fuck you to your fuck you.
