I am not professional writer. I have no formal education in writing but I love to write. I think I actually started writing to get all the crazy things that have happened to me out of my head and on to paper. My life was a whirlwind. I was only nine years old when I immigrated with my single mother from Russia to the U.S. I eventually became a stripper in the mid nineties and married an abusive, narcissistic man. Sometimes I think I started writing for revenge against all the people that I felt wronged or abandoned me. Maybe my story is not so special, you'd have to read some of the chapters to decide for yourself.

I am a Jewish woman and that created much of my identity. I found this site and stated posting some of the chapters from the book I would like to finish and publish one day. I have a lot of opinions on Judaism, God, and religion in general. I found Medium as an outlet and cathartic.
