55 Years On This Planet And What Have I Learned?

Today is my 55th birthday. I never thought I’d make it this far. 30 years ago I thought I may die before making it to 25. I was in an abusive relationship and I literally thought I would die. But for the grace of God, I was saved. And I don’t mean like I was saved as in the Christian sense. What I mean is I was saved by a divine power. What I really mean is I saved myself with the strength from God.

I was literally on my knees. I had never really prayed before until that moment. I was brought to my knees by disrepair. I didn’t know that I had guardian angels watching over me. I honestly believe that there are angels watching over all of us even during this dark and sad time for the Jewish people.

It’s taken me over 30 years to understand that the universe wants good things for me, that karma is real. I’ll tell you again, karma is real and what goes around really comes around.

What I’ve learned is and I’ll quote Mel Robbins is “Let them”.
